When Calling Parents Isn't Your Calling: A teacher's guide to communicating with parents

If you ask an educator, "What's your favorite part of your job?" It is highly unlikely they will say, "Communicating with parents." Educators know that building partnerships with parents is essential for student success, but it is certainly not easy. When Calling Parents isn't Your Calling is a how-to for effective and efficient parent communication through a variety of methods: phone calls, emails, newsletter, meet-the-teacher night, conferences, and more. This book serves as a helpful resource for educators who may struggle to communicate with parents and provides practical advice for improving parent-teacher partnerships.
