Dana Goodier is an edupreneur, podcast host, and school leader with 22 years of experience in education. She lives in Lone Tree, CO. She spent most of her career teaching World Languages and English, along with working as a middle school administrator. She completed her doctorate degree (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership in early 2020. Building off of her own growth as a teacher, she dedicates much of her time to providing educators with professional development sessions on techniques to minimize off-task behavior and to increase time on task. She is also the host of the podcast for educators “Out of the Trenches”, which features those who have been in the trenches and have managed to crawl out.
Out of the Trenches: Stories of Resilient Educators will give you insight into challenges educators in a variety of roles have experienced. They all have one thing in common: they used their trench as a learning experience. They have gone on to make a positive impact in their community and beyond. Dr. Goodier weaves these stories with her own curvy path leading to where she is today. This book also provides the opportunity for reflection and a chance to open up a discussion among colleagues on the trenches many educators experience.
